Tony cements the groove with his solid funk bass, Derrek Wright chunks out soulful, funky guitar sounds, Andrew McDowell slams out solid backbeats and croons the tasty background vocals, John Flanders spices up the sound with his sexy sax and 13 year old prodigy Courtney Smith does things with the keyboards that make him the envy of players 3 times his age.
The vocal crew is rounded out by Terrance Grayson on background vocals. A number of special guests add additional hooks from the gospel tinged hammond organ sounds of Dave Pelliciarro, a childrens chorus and the Spanish guitar sound of Sean Halley to complete the sound that Tony had envisioned when working at MoTown in the late 70's.
