We're an alt-country band from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Influences include Gram Parsons, Neil Young, and Lucinda Williams. On some songs, you can also hear hints of Otis Redding and Ray Charles. Torin Alter writes, sings, and plays guitar and harmonica. Jil Chambless sings. Craig Gates plays bass and sings. Dan Vogt plays guitar. Chris Zeiler plays drums. Blood Orange is our first album. In addition to the five regular members, sixteen musicians (horn players, steel players, etc.) contributed to the recordings. www.torinalter.com
