After rigorous touring throughout the South East and molding a fresh sound to call their own, Atomic Tangerine is busting on to the Orlando scene with a vengeance! They have currently finished their debut album "Bitch for Society", which is comprised of 14 solid heart felt tracks. Atomic Tangerine is continuously building upon its growing fan base, and provides one of the most powerful live shows in Florida! Although they have just finished their album, they are continuously writing and recording hot new material, with the help of a devoted group of engineers at TSM studios!
Atomic Tangerine has entwined individual experiences and influences to create an extraordinary sound that has turned heads throughout the country! The additions of Mike Rollo, student of legendary studio drummer Russ Miller, a tenacious Publicist, and a tremendous attitude, have helped to develop Atomic Tangerine into a well oiled machine operating on all cylinders. * In June of 2004, Atomic Tangerine was voted Best Rock Act and Best Acoustic Act by The Orlando Weekly in their annual Best of Orlando edition.
* They were recently chosen out of 300 Central Florida Bands to rock the "Native Noise" stage at Real Rock 101.1's Earthday Birthday concert, with headlining acts suck as: Velvet Revolver, 3 Doors Down, Alter Bridge and others. Atomic Tangerine has opened for such major acts as: Jimmy Eat World, Andrew W.K., Cypress Hill, Better Than Ezra, Jimmy's Chicken Shack, Blues Traveler, The Gin Blossoms, Fastball, Less Than Jake and Guster.
* Atomic Tangerine's single "Gravity" has recently received radio airplay on 94.9 Zeta (WZTA) ,Real Rock 101.1 (WJRR), O-Rock 105.9 (WOCL), KOOBA Radio (U.K.), 99.3 New Rock 99X (WJBX), and is being placed in rotation at the University of Florida (WRUF) as well as various college and online radio stations across the country.
* Atomic Tangerine has sold 2,800 copies of their hit single "Gravity" throughout Florida, as well as internet sales.
* In February of 2003, Atomic Tangerine won the HBO/Hard Rock Café/Rolling Stones nationwide "Rock the Stones" Contest, beating out thousands of acts from across the country.
