David Turbow is a college professor, triathlete, surfer, and musician. His music is heavily influenced by great alternative songwriters of past and present, including: Andy Partridge (XTC), The Flaming Lips, Eels, and Beck. In addition to writing three albums and two EPs with his indie rock band, Supernovice since 1992, David has put out two great demo-style releases, "Home 4-Track Ditties"(2000), and "Digital 8-Track Ditties"(2003). "Gold Standard" his latest effort, ventures into various territories of indie rock, acoustic, reggae, and electronica.
