The Notes are a NC-based Hip-Hop group highlighted by artists Jimmy Semaj and Doug Fletcher. The brothers, Semaj and Fletcher, have been building a credible discography since 1999 when The Notes first emerged on the local rap scene of Garysburg, NC. Henceforth, The Notes have released Noteworthy - The Organized Tape mixtape in 2003, followed by The Affiliates compilation album in 2004.
