Introducing "Terell House" aka Mr. James Terrell Damon, beared to Joseph and Earlean Damon, the 7th of ten children. As a child living in Mississippi, he watched his dad and uncles sing and perform with many gospel artists. At an early age, Terrell began singing in his father's church and was quickly noted for his talent. The family soon moved to Crowley, Louisiana where they reside today. Growing up, Terrell and his siblings participated in many talent and variety shows as a gospel group. He is a graduate of Crowley High School were he was a member of the football team and chorus. He won several state choral competitions. He realized that singing was in his heart, and decided to pursue a singing career. After several failed attempts at starting his music career, he began recording original songs at home hoping that one day he would be recognized. Well, it paid off. He is performing around Acadiana as a solo artist, gaining popularity with each performance. Now signed to an independent record label, LaTrebor Records of Lafayette, Louisiana. His continuing excellence as a performer has opened many doors to success, so be on the look out for this rising star.

Terell's style of music is southern soul. By definition it is old school R&B mixed with a little hip hop. He has a smooth vocal delivery reminiscent of Luther Vandross and Freddie Jackson. He's earned the nickname of the "Neighborhood Teddybear" from his gentle demeanor and overwhelming charm on stage and off.
