Adult Contemporary Christian Pop music with a mix of emotions, soaring melodies and memorable hooks, frequently requested as special music for church services and events.

12 MP3 Songs
GOSPEL: Contemporary Gospel, EASY LISTENING: Soft Rock

Details:
Christian Pop "soft rock" produced by Denny Martin in Nashville with first-class musicians. Terry Sue's powerful voice has a style all its own, with subtle influences from Linda Ronstadt, Trisha Yearwood and Martina McBride -- maybe even a little Karen Carpenter. These songs are ideal for special music at church services and events.

Topics deal with Christian life and recovery themes. "Remember Me" reflects the promises of God and features an unforgettable saxophone performance by Bryan Cumming. "Celebrate With Me" truly celebrates a believer's life and is often used at memorial services. "In My Father's Eyes" reminds us to lighten up on ourselves and see the beauty that God sees in us. "Let the Water Fall" is a story of surrender and speaks to single parents. "Family Life" is a humorous look at stepfamily life that is often used at family conferences. "Lighthouse" illustrates evangelism, and "Make Me Whole" expresses the emotions of starting over after making a mistake, featuring deeply moving "one-man-band" accompaniment by Gene Rabbai. "Please Don't Believe Me," written by hit songwriter Alan O'Day ("Angie Baby" and "Undercover Angel" among others), has become an anthem for recovery from child abuse and this song is widely requested by child psychologists and social workers. "Old Man's Eyes" is a poignant example of forgiveness between a parent and child. These songs were written during a period of mourning the loss of family members, a close friend and a marriage - yet they are not dark, but hopeful and reflective.

Terry Sue has been performing her music at churches, coffee houses, concerts and private events for more than 10 years. She grew up in Downey, California listening to the Eagles, the Beach Boys, Elton John, Harry Chapin and copping those infamous Manilow modulations. She studied piano and guitar, vocals with Lisa Popeil and songwriting with Jai Josephs and NSAI's song camp. If you hear some Country influence, it's probably from NSAI instructors John Ims, Hugh Prestwood, James Dean Hicks, Wayne Carson and Angela Kaset, as well as collaboration with producer and cowriter Denny Martin - her songwriting mentor who is responsible for every song she ever wrote.

Terry Sue's music has been featured on radio, television, in feature films and DVDs as well as covered by other artists. Her songs are popular as special music for church services and used at weddings, memorial services, conferences, seminars and retreats. She is available to perform live throughout the Southwest, Nashville and Virginia. Book her via email at specialblend@onebox.com.

Terry Sue's newest project is a collaboration with her husband Bob Lopez. They have formed a musical duo called "Special Blend." Bob brings his Jazz, Latin and Rock electric guitar stylings to the new songs-in-progress - creating a musical blend that will definitely not be decaf! For details check out www.specialblend.org.
