The blue-collar town of Baltimore, MD helped forge the uniquely crafted songs burned into JIM ZGORSKI's debut CD, SOMEWHERE IN TIME. Since setting up camp outside Nasville, Zgorski's tenacity and talent have won him performing songwriter awards from CMT/NSAI (Country Music Television / Nashville Songwriter's Association International), River Bluff Acoustic Music Festival and Mountain Stage New Song event. His creations are diverse in mood and melody, colored with a wordsmith's pallet of humorous double entendre, incisive wisdom and expressiveness that comes straight from the heart. HIS SONGS

Zgorski begins unassumingly with the alluring COMFORT OF YOUR LOVE ballad. An acoustically simple intro builds to a full, rich chorus. Lyrically plaintive it says "I need you" as clearly as it's ever been said.

BIG FRONT PORCH is Zgorski's fun filled, down-home stomper of a tune teamed with a masterfully woven work of comic double entendre (or if you prefer, it's just a song about a man obsessed with his love of real estate). Yee Ha!

A Springsteen-esque "heroine drone" tempo drags you kicking and screaming down a corridor of lost love memories in Zgorski's WHO STOLE MY DREAM - undeniable echoes of Dylan.

The award winning composition, TEXAS TATTOOED LADY is a humorous, honky-tonk flavored, sexy, patriotic, carnival side-show.
