TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT...

I got my real start as a DJ in the Bay Area underground hip hop scene in 1997. As a co-founder of the Four Corners Coalition, I was throwing wack shows by the age of 16, and dope ones by the age of 17. At age 18 I focused our vision for the independent Hip Hop community, and founded The Collectiv..., with the support of a tight group of friends and family.

After a brief stint in Washington DC, I came around back to the Bay Area to focus on the music, and the bigger picture. In 2003 my debut album, Elenchus, caught the attention of my peers and mentors at home. In 2005 I made the East Bay Express Best of the Bay list as a Readers Choice pick.

For the next few years I focused on growing The Collectiv... and performing. I've been blessed to rock stages up and down the West Coast and around the world.

When I'm back home in Oakland, I keep it moving with my family, The Collectiv..., and the Napalm Clique. In 2007 we released The Classique Mixtape, which is exactly what it sounds like. Now I've just put the final touches my second solo project, EXTENDED PLAY.
