Honey Chile (Child) band was formed in Concord, Ca in 2008, by members, Jeff Eyman and Jenny Brown with the purpose of creating all-original music with a retro, down-home funky vibe to get everyone on the dance floor! Honey Chile is reminiscent of 60âs and 70âs Soul and funk, such as Aretha Franklin, Curtis Mayfield, Hendrix, and James Brown. The band is comprised of five of the Bay Areaâs best musician. Starting off with the soultastic belting of pint-sized Jenny Brown, and the ripping twin guitars of Jeff Eyman and Bobby Blades, Stephen Goodwin on bumping Bass and Jeff Collins on funky drums.

After knowing each other for ten years and playing in bands such as The Memphis Pipelayers, The Sundowners, Tennessee People, and The South County Band, Jeff Eyman and Jenny Brown decided to once again join forces and create the ultimate dance band, known as Honey Chile. With Jeffâs blues background and Jennyâs soul twist, Honey Chile handpicked the remaining members to create the best Rock nâ Soul band around.

Honey Chile has played countless shows throughout the Bay Area, including such well-known venues as Berkeleyâs hot spots, Blakeâs and the Shattuck Down Low, in which the band opened for East Bay Favorite, Planting Seeds. Honey Chile played The Down Low on Halloween Eve, as mentioned on the radio station, The Bone. Honey Chile brought loyal fans as well as new fans to the dance floor for a Rockinâ good time. Honey Chile continues to gain numerous fans that regularly attend the bandâs shows as well as visit their internet music pages. One hard-core fan, surprised the band by wearing a home-made, Honey Chile T-shirt. Another fan, Playmate of the year, Carmella Garcia exclaimed, âHoney Chile Rocks!â a thought also shared by musicians, Johnny Otis Jr and Guitar great, Steve Sage. Honey Chile continues to wow audiences with their unique, high energy performance.

Honey Chileâs debut album entitled, Found Someone, was recorded at the renowned Multimedia school, Expressions, in Emeryville, CA and was mixed and mastered by Cesar Mejia at the Shelter Studios located in Los Angeles, CA The band continues to perform around the Bay Area. Honey Chile looks forward to expanding their fan base and playing more diverse venues.
