Rocking Power Pop. Violent Femmes meets Weezer meets Westerberg

13 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Modern Rock, POP: Power Pop

Details:
The Rise, fall and rise of American rock popsters, Zero Parade, began with the bands debut release for Chicago based Indie label Acme Ent. The band was then picked up by Aerosmith's "then" management, Magus Ent.
The single, "Lemonade", quickly was the #6 most added song to College radio. The band watched as their label soon folded in the label purge of '99, and within weeks, Magus was dissolved upon the departure of Aerosmith.
Zero Parade pick's up the pieces with this modern pop-rock CD, which features 4 songs from the largely unheard debut, and 9 additional ones that those who have already discovered the band can sink their teeth into.
Following the tradition of writer's such as Petty and Westerberg, Zero Parade's songs deliver with honesty. As they examine heady subjects such as relationship's and the pitfall's of youth, they maintain a tongue in cheek attitude that reminds you that everythings gonna be alright.

"The band is remniscent of early Ramones and a young "They Might Be Giant's" with more melody". - Enigma Magazine

"Zero parade sounds like they belong on the radio. They're catchy, their songs are are put together with a hauntingly perfect structure, and you can almost hear the radio deejay introduce each song" - Ink 19 Magazine

""Modern rock lives on with this crunchy-smooth album of little pop rock gems" - Songwriters monthly
