Details:
Sydal was born in Santa Clara, CA on April 1, 1982. He's been labeled a survivor since that day due to complications he faced as an infant. At the age of 11, Sydal started freestyling with his best friend Tyrone Kemp during the long walks to their Elementary school in San Jose.

Sydal soon realized that rap was not only a form of self expression, but also a great way to entertain his peers. Soon the two began dreaming of becoming rap artists and it became their only goal from then on. Then in early 1996, Tyrone passed away in a car wreck in Texas, leaving Sydal to do it on his own.

With nothing recorded, and one of the group members gone, the dreams the two had together were shattered. About 4 months after Tyrone's passing, "Stop The Pain" was written and recorded on a karaoke machine, in memory of the deceased. Copies of this song were then made and passed out around the area, and after getting good responses, Sydal played the song for Tyrone's family. This was the first time his words made grown people cry.

About 2 years later, Sydal was still having trouble dealing with his best friends' death and was still writing songs in attempt to ease the pain. Before long, he had written 350 songs, expressing his pain, love, anger, confusion, and ambition to make something out of the dreams that once were.

Now, he's a grown man, ready to take the world by storm with powerful lyrics delivered by one of the most original voices in Rap Music. His deep voice, outgoing personality, humor, and love for people all around the world sets him apart from every other rap artist known today. His goal is to deliver HIS message, not the message of other rappers. Stay tuned, Sydal is going to be one of the biggest heads in hip-hop VERY SOON!
