One summer evening during a solar eclipseâ¦

a Boston electronic quartet was blasted mid-rehearsal out to the farthest reaches of the solar system. This is the sonic chronicle of their adventure, starting from their research lab, out to the farthest planets, and their return home.
This album is dedicated to many of the major celestial bodies responsible for personal and global transformation between summer 2010 and winter 2012. The cosmic Cardinal Alignment is an intense and rare configuration of planets occupying the four cardinal astrological signs: Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, and Libra. During this time, radical shifts occur on every level of reality through their refining gaze.

Each track on this album represents the essence of a planet, sun, or moon in our solar system. The rhythm and key are influenced by the sacred sonic work of Hans Cousteauâs âCosmic Octaveâ and Pythagorasâ âHarmony of the Spheres.â The mood and emotion are derived from the qualities of the cardinal signs the planets inhabit during the Cardinal Alignment.
