Boy Jumps Ship were formed in the winter of 2009 and are a four piece emsemble hailing from Newcastle. They released their self-titled debut EP in early 2010 which earned praise as a formidable introduction to the band's career. In the Summer of 2010 the boys took to the road to promote the EP, playing shows across England before travelling across to Belgium and France. During this time they have continually honed a live show that is an explosive amalgamation of musicianship, distinctive hooks and arresting energy.

Since then, the band have recorded their second EP 'Engines' with producer John Rees and they are eagerly gearing up for it's release on January 24th 2011. This new EP shows a more confident and refined band who are ready to take their distinctive sound to the next level.
