Aloft recording artists Soundpool's music is somewhere between Stereolab, My Bloody Valentine, Ladytron, Broadcast, Slowdive and Yo La Tengo. Colletively the members have opened for the likes of The B-52's, The Cardigans, April March and Smashmouth just to name a few and have recorded for such labels as Mutiny/Sire Records and Phil Ramone's N2K Records. Setting out to blur the lines between alternative/indie/rock and dance/electronica, Soundpool is redifining the Shoegaze, Dream Pop and Space Rock genre's which has been steadily on the rise in the left side of the music spectrum for the last few years now. The band's savvy classic songwriting sensibilities combined with their powerful, tight wall of sound live performance and mesmerizing visuals has earned them a loyal and growing fanbase, making them a favorite among club goers in New York Citie's live music scene.
