Funky Country.

10 MP3 Songs
COUNTRY: Country Rock, COUNTRY: Modern Country

Details:
Son of Roy and the Funky Country Cats features St. Louis, Mo. based singer-songwriter Randall Harr. Randall is a seasoned
musician that has been writing songs and playing shows
for 30+ years. He studied guitar at the famous Berklee College
of Music as well as having studied and played with some
of St. Louis' finest musicians over the years.
His first full-lenght release- "A Tribute to June and Johnny" - showcases Randall's diverse lyrical subject matter as well as his deep baritone voice that is somewhat reminiscent of the late great Johnny Cash. Randall is backed up by a fantastic band that really brings his songs alive and adds a great deal of musical depth.
Randall is an avid sportsman and writes about losing a hunting
buddy in "Ol Joe"; he delves into the subject of world peace on "Lay Your Weapons Down"; he writes about past loves in tunes like "Lonesome Heart Attack" and "Handshakes"; there's a recounting of an experience that he had at the famous Bluebird Cafe' in Nashville in "Booted from the Bluebird" and of course there are the odes to bachelorhood in "Dog and My Phone" and "Ain't No Cowboy".
If you like real country with a modern twist and songs that come from real experience you should pull up a chair, grab a beer and give this one a listen!
