South Of Georgia is proud to announce the release of their Debut Album, SOG, recorded in studios in Palm Bay, Florida, produced by ledgendary artist Terry Luttrell formally of Reo Speedwagon and Starcastle The album features all original music with vocals by T.C. Ridge. Banjoman Todd Taylor lent his Grammy Nominated Unique Banjo Licks And talents to help the southern country bands sound to a whole new edge.
South Of Georgia has also made a deal with Graymark Productions to have two of the song tracks from the album, SWAMP CHILD and THICK AND THIN, to be used in the motion picture THE HUNT, directed by Fritz Kiersch and Produced by Oscar Winner Gray Frederickson. Frederickson won an Oscar for the motion
picture GODFATHER PART 2 and was Oscar Nominated for the motion picture APOCALYPSE NOW.
T.C. Ridge of SOG will be Co-producing and acting in another Graymark Productions film INDIAN NATION. The film has been scheduled to start shooting on location in Oklahoma in 2006. INDIAN NATION will be directed by Fritz Kiersch. The band, South Of Georgia, will have a guest cameo in the film. Grammy Nominee, Todd Taylor, will also be appearing in the film cameo.
South Of Georgia of has just completed their video to their first release single "Down Home Country Boy" to be aired on CMT and GAC. Grammy Nominated Artist Todd Taylor played banjo for the boys in the video. It promises to be a great video so dont miss your chance to catch your first glimpse at the South Of Georgia website.
