"Love On Track" featuring the vocal styling of Susan Berthiaume and pianist/arranger Denny Berthiaume is the result of twenty years collaboration between this super talented duo.

In the years before they met, both had established themselves as recording and performing artists in jazz and cabaret clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area. Denny's group Solar Plexus, with four albums on the jazz charts, was known for it's innovative world beat style long before there was such a genre. Denny was appearing with Diane Schuur, Mundell Lowe, and Bobby McFerrin to name a few.

Susan's early years were saturated with the songs of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer and Lorenz Hart and the sounds of, June Christy, Chris Connor, Nancy Wilson and the Four Freshman. She is a classically trained song stylist in the cabaret tradition; song as theater.

Susan and Denny's complex musical influences converge on their CD "Love On Track" offering jammin' interpreting of standards like "Lover Come Back To Me", the slow and sensual "The Very Thought Of You" and some wonderful not so standards like Ellington's' What Am I Here For" and Cole Porters' "Experiment". Susan's forte are story songs like "Something Cool" that lend to her richly beautiful voice and dramatic style) Many of San Francisco's finest musicians were brought in to play Denny's dynamic and complex arrangements. The combination is a powerful tour de force of great music from start to finish
