Steve Crum is a Trumpet and Keyboard player based in Long Beach, California. Since 1992 he has toured regularly with Diana Ross, taking time to play as well with Boz Skaggs, The Eels, Tom Jones, Brian Setzer, and many others.

He is also a composer, and has spent many years writing for various TV shows and movies, and producing CDs for songwriters and musicians.

Ocassionally he takes time to write his own music, and Secret Circle is a glowing example. Inspired by Kenny Wheeler, the ECM genre, and influences too numerous to count, this CD is a beautiful blend of science and soul. The players are at the top of their game, and the songs are pure emotion as a result.

This CD features Steve Crum on Flugelhorn,trumpet, EVI and synth., Darron Johnson on keys, Tony Morris on sax and EWI, Larry Koonse and Jimmy Mahlis on guitar, Keith Jones, Eric Messerschmidt and Andrew Ford on bass, Gary Novak on drums, and Gary Gardner on percussion.

Steve is currently working on some other musicians music, but check back. Maybe he'll surprise us again.
