These life experiences, a sampling of differences, contributed to the well-rounded liking of many styles of music and has lead Tom to write songs that highlight these styles. Styles, which include 60s, contemporary, rock, soft rock, traditional, country, and bluegrass, that feature some of Tomâs favorite artists like The Everly Brothers, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, David Gates & Bread, England Dan & John Ford Coley, REO Speedwagon, Steven Curtis Chapman, Newsboys, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, and FFH.
Tom has played in Rock & Roll, Top 40, and Contemporary Christian bands in Oklahoma, Indiana, Minnesota, and Iowa and is currently playing in the Contemporary Christian band at the church he is attending.
The Contemporary Christian band has been the most rewarding of all the bands but Tomâs favorite part of sharing his music is in the recording studio.
The opportunity to take a thought or an idea, and through a few interpretations and adjustments, create a song that appeals to many listeners for many years to come, and, by sharing a positive message, maybe even help change a life or two.
Tomâs prayer is that this music will touch even one lost person so that they might know God and know that in all life, the Power is in His hands.
