STONE GROOVE was formed 11 years ago on the Central Coast in Santa Cruz, California and is most notably known as the "Reggae Rock Blend Masters" or "Reggae on Red Bull". Famous for getting kicked out of venues and taking things a bit too far, they have cemented themselves as a local favorite. After breaking into the club scene in 1994 they have played in all the local hangouts and rocked countless parties.
Since the successful release of their debut album on their own record label (Cab Stand Records), the group has: received airplay on local radio stations (KMBY- the Scene, KUSP, KZSC), went on a tour of the Lake Tahoe area, appeared twice on local television, had a song featured on the new compilation album called "Skankin' Cali Style", which features reggae bands from all over California, and continues to gig weekly in the Santa Cruz area. Their second album titled "Musician's Life" is available now. With 12 more Stone Groove originals, the album is packed full of raw sound and fearless lyrics that these guys are known for.
