THE SLOWTIME MONDAYS---
Formed in 2000, this Los Angeles rock/power-pop trio have been playing the rock scene in and out of the L.A. area! The band consists of Greg Verdusco on vocals/guitars, Danny Lucas on 12-string bass/vocals and Kevin Starr on drums. The band was put together in 1999/2000 when Greg had left his previous band Cosmo and The Lonely Souls and Danny had been in the purple haired glam/pop-punk band The Zeros. After recruiting Kevin on drums, the band rehearsed before adding another guitar plyer. The band played extensively around the So Cal area. In 2004, the second guitar player left leaving the band back to its original trio lineup. The band recorded their first self-titled release in 2004. Ten scorching tracks of their own brand of guitar driven power-pop rock n roll. Musically, comparisons have been made to early KISS, Cheap Trick, Teenage Fanclub, The Replacements as well as newer acts such as the Foo Fighters and Oasis. If you are ever in the Los Angeles area and the band is playing, don't miss them! They put on an ultra energetic super fun show!
