Formed in 2005 after a chance meeting in London ,UK these two drummers ,Roy Phillips & Lee Sperling now known as Strainge Rain have written over 50 songs. With a total love of musics from the 40s to the 70s they have taken all these influences and created a "Strainge" world of their own . This music is for anyone with ears to HEAR ,or for anyone who loves the music of say -the Beatles ,XTC , Dylan ,GBV ,Dion, etc.... This , their first cd is a collection of some demos recorded by themselves using basic instrumentation but capturing the essence of what the Rain is all about and that is basically to sit down , write the songs , record em usually all done in 30 minutes or so per track. Lo fi in the same sense as say - GBV . This is Rock & Roll folks !
