A Native American legend narrative accompanied by Native Flutes, Drums and Chants
11 MP3 Songs
SPOKEN WORD: With Music, WORLD: Native American
Details:
This project started out as a story for Native American children with the title "We Were Here, We Are Here, We Will Be Here". I hadn't gotten too far into the story when Spirit Warrior came to me with the poem "The Magic Flute" written by Alma Sparkling Rain, a fan. He asked if I could come up with an idea for album wrapped around the poem. Creator came to me and told me to let the Magic Flutes tell the story I wanted to write. After that, Creator stood behind my right shoulder and dictated the entire story and told me where He felt I should have the music. I got Jamie (Spirit Warrior) and Dave (Waryr) together with their flutes, explained what Creator wanted and the flutes wove the music needed. After listening to what we had done, I realized this was not just for Native Americans or just for children. The story has universal appeal.
