The band continues to create fresh, exciting new music, yet keeps a great respect for the long standing tradition of American music, known as Americana. According to the Americana Music Association (AMA), Americana refers to folk, country, bluegrass, and ethnic American music. Steven Courtney Band's brand, of original Americana music, blends various styles into one joyful sound. The album, "25 Cent Songs, has produced several new concert favorites which include: "Rattle Bang Boom," "Harmonica Veronica," "Nice Little House" and "Water From The Well."
