This is the second volume in the "GREATEST HITS" series that the Sheraton Cadwell Group of Music Professionals (www.sheratoncadwell.com) has released, following the tremendous success of, and requests for, perennial favourites performed by the Sheraton Cadwell Orchestra.

A compilation of a series of live big band recordings during April/May 2006 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, this album features vocal artists Lisa Levy (www.lisalevy.ca) and 12-year old Kalya Ramu in her world premiere appearance on the music scene.

Professionally managed and staffed by over 100 talented vocalists and musicians from the Greater Toronto Area, the Sheraton Cadwell Group is on the fast track to achieving in a fraction of the time what most musical organizations take decades to accomplish.

Generous sponsorship and experienced leadership have made it possible for this unique organization to achieve world-class standards with its big bands and other smaller ensembles, including the Toronto Starlight Orchestra (www.starlightorchestra.ca), the Wyndham Regency Orchestra (www.wyndhamregency.com), the Philips Westin Orchestra (www.philipswestin.com), Orchestra Copacabana (www.atthecopa.biz) and the Casablanca Orchestra (www.clubcasablanca.ca).

All artists recruited by the Sheraton Cadwell Group have an average of at least 10 years performing experience, having been auditioned and selected for their high level of artistic flair, technical proficiency and professionalism.

Whether it is a romancing soloist, intimate duet, sassy trio, classical string quartet, jazz quintet, latin combo, swinging big band or grand ballroom dance orchestra, artists with the Sheraton Cadwell Group have an extensive repertoire for almost any occasion to please the most discerning clients. Performances have characteristically been described as professional, warm, lively and engaging.

With close to $100,000 invested over the last 3 years in the best available sound & recording equipment and other logistics, all orchestras under the management of the Sheraton Cadwell Group continue to be among the most well-equipped entertainers in the industry. With efficient administrative support, their artists are available for performances at weddings, corporate functions and other special events.

Clients who have commissioned Sheraton Cadwell's line-up of boutique musical ensembles include high-profile organizations such as Bank of America, United Way and the City of Toronto, among others.

Sheraton Cadwell's big bands have performed at many upscale venues and prestigious festivals. The Toronto Starlight Orchestra has been showcased in grand banquets and ballrooms at 5-star locations such as the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel while the Wyndham Regency Orchestra and the Philips Westin Orchestra have been commissioned to present outstanding live performances at the Celebrate Toronto! Street Festival and Sunday Serenades at Mel Lastman Square, respectively, public concerts which feature the best of big bands auditioned and shortlisted each year by special event organizers from the City of Toronto.

The primary mandate of the Sheraton Cadwell Group of Orchestras is to support the fundraising activities of major charities and humanitarian organizations dedicated to alleviating poverty in less developed communities outside Canada.

Net proceeds from performances and CD sales are donated to international agencies such as UNICEF, World Vision, Oxfam, CARE, Doctors Without Borders and the Red Cross through the Global Poverty Relief Foundation (www.gprf.net) to support disaster and poverty relief programs.

To date, orchestras affiliated under the Sheraton Cadwell organization have helped to raise over $350,000 for charitable and humanitarian projects.
