Craig Smith is a singer/songwriter type who sometimes plays in bands and lurks around the outskirts of Philadelphia and occasionally decides to focus on actually finishing a started project.

THE NASHVILLE SESSIONS consists of four songs written and recorded over the span of seven days at the Opryland Hotel. To combat Smith's ability to repeatedly give in to distraction, this time was used as a retreat; an experiment in alternate tunings, impromptu lyric writing, playing and singing softly as to not annoy the neighbors...

All in all, a lo-fi collection of four track demos for further embellishment and a snapshot of the moment of creativity when four songs were in their infancy.

Even though the songs have been available to listen to and download for free, the physical product contains a nifty color cover which is neat to hold in your hands and study. It's a small handmade operation of limited numbers, each piece lovingly crafted. Sure to be a collector's item in some circle or another.
