Details:
I started making music as a Rapper/DJ at the age of 15. My mentor was one of the first rappers to ever be recorded. He was with the Fat Back Band and he went by the name of King Tim the III. When DJ Starsky would rock the Audobon Ballroom uptown I was "Always There" thats how I got the name Bon Rock. Back In the days I had a radio show called Bon Rock Live on WHBI 105.9FM There was Mr. Magic's Rap Attack with Marly Marl, The World Famous Supreme Team Show and The Roots Man Earl Chin .

While doing the radio show I recorded "Searching Rap" which went to number 1 in Paris. The following year I recorded "Junior Wants to play" which went to number 2 . The success of those records led to a production deal with Cant Stop Productions who had done The Village People. That deal ultimately lead to the production of the record "Street Dance" which has sold millions of copies since its release.

Street Dance remains popular in Old Skool radio shows and Breakbeat compilations to this day.My original background rappers (The Rhythm Rebellion) were Colleen Saunders & Michelle Butler. They were replaced by Tania Baptiste And Dianne Hawkins of The Group Cotton Candy. My only DJ was Doug ( Bumper to Bumper) Kinard.

Now that there is a resurgence of Old Skool music I have been given the opportunity to work with some of the new school producers Like Von Thadden, JR(Heavy Metal)Wilson, Leroy "Narr8tor" Downs.
