Token met and formed in Guildford UK at the end of summer 2010, brought together by a mutual passion for music and focus on making great melodic and sometimes powerful songs.

Brainchild of singer/song writer Jamie Bell, who needed an outlet for the many songs he has written down the years, sent out an SOS to local musicians with the same passion for making great music. Helen, Bim, Lee and Marek soon joined to form Token who have just put the finishing touches to their debut EP titled âA Token EPâ and are currently putting all their efforts into getting their sound out there to an audience who appreciate a melodic sound with a format that evokes memories of the great sound of the 90s. Simple and well structured with hints of folk, pop and rock with a message of love and life that we can all connect with from time to time.
