Creeping out the unaware public since late 2008, THE CREEPER (vocals), STEW MANCHU (guitars), THE WOLFMAN (bass), and YOUNGBLOOD (drums) are The Screaming Starts.

In early 2009 this group of seasoned musicians recorded a six song EP that caught the attention of local KISW personality Jolene and almost immediately made their first of several appearances on her popular weekly radio show âLoud & Localâ. The Screaming Startsâ sound is very heavy, riff-driven rock and roll that has been described as MC5 meets Turbonegro with a shot of Black Sabbath adrenaline directly to the heart. This is a natural evolution of their combined musical influences that include The Doors, Social Distortion, the Sonics, Rise Against, Iron Maiden and Fu Manchu.

In the summer of 2010 they returned to Seattleâs Egg Studios with legendary producer Conrad Uno, who has worked with such renowned bands as Mudhoney and Presidents of the United States of America. The Screaming Startsâ first full-length album, "Wash Away the Blood,â is the product of this exciting collaboration.
