Creating positive energy through music and message, The Senticsphere has amassed a loyal following with their brand of emotionally charged rock, and 2010 has been no exception.

This last year was a phenomenal year for the band with them recently earning a New Music Award for âBest Rockâ at the Ontario New Music Festival in Barrie and an opening slot for Big Sugar and The Trews. They also earned honours from Vancouverâs premier rock radio station, 99.3 The Fox, as Foxâs very first listener-voted independent Band of the Month, and top spots in the Vancouver Fox Seeds competition two years in a row. To conclude 2010, they had two singles âHomeâ and âOn The Edgeâ selected to be in the latest online, interactive music video game Rhythm Zone.

The release of their 2009 debut album âDay Oneâ, and a successful Canadian National Tour in support of the record, put the band in a prime position to be seen and heard by new audiences across the country. Their highly energetic and crowd rousing live shows scored them a performance at this yearâs National Campus and College Radio Conference. A hard work ethic and relentless attitude have earned the band further credibility in the Canadian independent Rock scene with some commercial radio play of their singles âOn the Edgeâ and âThe Sceneâ.

Past accolades and events include a 2009 album release show sponsored by ROCKSTAR Energy Drink and 99.3 The Fox with partial proceeds being donated to Warchild Canada. The band also won national accolades at the 2008 International Emergenza Festival in Montreal, placing 2nd in Canada. In 2006, their debut EP âWaking the Sunâ had the lead single 'More' licensed for the 2008 Australian motorsport DVD 'Gazza Nationals' soundtrack. Numerous online awards, interviews, music reviews and cross-Canada performances coupled with thousands of streams and downloads sold throughout North America and abroad have given rise to one of Vancouverâs brightest up and coming rock acts.

Recently coming out of the studio with newly written material, their determination and passion will carry them into preparation for their most significant releases to date. Renowned producer Jeff Dawson (State of Shock, Marcy Playground, Daniel Powter) put the magic on their new EP, which is slated for a late April release. The Spring of 2011 will have the band embark on another national tour called 'Strength in Numbers'. With a newfound maturity and song writing to match, The Senticsphere continues to strive to cement their place in the landscape of modern rock.

The Senticsphere is Warren Hall (lead vocals), Roy Benetti (guitars), and Sean Welch (percussion). With the current line-up change and departure of bass player and friend Chris âPoohâ Poole, the band welcomes Benson Musaev on bass, and is ready for another epic year.
