My album was inspired by my personal experiences in life. Many of us fall in love with someone and we can easily find ourselves so caught up in pleasing the other person to the point that we forget about ourselves. So in most cases if your significant other doesn't think about you and praise your worth, you have to do it yourself. You have to love, adore and respect yourself before trying to share these things with someone else. I'm not saying to hate them in anyway but to just inform them that you have to make this show about you first and foremost if they have failed to do so. Many of us have been placed in compromising situations (unplanned pregnancies) where we question how we should handle the situation. No one person expects to have to rear a child or children alone but in unexpected situations, we find ourselves too many times placed in these challenging and even distressed predicaments. So what do you do? How do you make your final decision? What choices do I have? Can I make the best of the situation? I will make the best of the situation. I will accept my choices and take on my responsibilities based on my decisions. I will be true to myself and also true to the situation and/or circumstances. What is life without adventures and unexpected challenges? These are the elements that make life so interesting. The key factor in life is how we handle these encounters while trying to hold fast to our sanity and happiness-our peace-ourselves.
