SIDECAR RADIO have been playing fierce rock n roll for over two years. They play what is refered to as "Garaggae," or "Urban Groove Rock," depending on the translation: a fusion of rock, reggae, with hip hop undertones. They are all fluent in German and sign language. Two members wear wigs. The other has a comb over.
They have been compared to Sublime, 311, Rustic Overtones & the Red Hot Chili Peppers. SIDECAR RADIO has toured all over the Northeast Corner of North America and has shared bills with bands such as Paranoid Social Club, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, As Fast As, Badfish, Lake Trout, Averi, State Radio & Michael Glabicki (of Rusted Root.) The Portland Phoenix named them "one of the region's best new bands," and said to "catch them soon before they bust out of the New England Scene proper."
