We kindly introduce you the debut album of this band which members originated from Bulgaria.

ANGERCURE started its life as a band in 1992 under the name GRAVEWORM.

After an year of setting up the band crew, jamming around and playing some kind of trash-death stuff, the core of the band formed around Hristo Petrov /drums/, Nikolay Gechеvski /ex-vocals & rhythm guitar/ and Victor Mihaylov /lead guitar/.

Bass parts were played by many musicians, incl. ex-death/grind monsters ENTHRALLMENT's guitarist Hristo Hristov.

In 1993 a cardinal decision has been made and the band musical orientation went firmly to Doom/Gothic.

In 1996 ANGERCURE, still acting under the name GRAVEWORM, released their demo album "Remembrance Is Pain" - an innocent mixture between the early PARADISE LOST & TIAMAT.

In the next couple of years the band recorded four more demo tracks and called it quits for various reasons.

âArguing in Dichromatic Daysâ marks the return of the mature ANGERCURE.
Now the band decided to find the missing link between the Gothic metal of PARADISE LOST and the Gothic rock of SENTENCED.

Thus some of the songs have a rock basis, with the Blues type of solos and rhythm guitars played freely, with open sound â like in the Alternative rock. The sound itself is vivid, warm and organic.

On the opposite, other songs on the record were played in a more dark and heavy way and the choice of the mixing engineer served the aim to reach more punch and heaviness.

Also some not very typical elements for this amalgam are introduced, especially in âBloodleakâ, âThe Windcastâ and âPariah Brainroverâ.
