Big Mono has found a way of paying homage their favorite influences such as Guided By Voices, The Walkmen, Morrissey, Magnetic Fields, and The Smoking Popes, yet they remain uniquely themselves. Their songs are honest, packed full of melody, and have a willingness to share their own daily struggle with the rest of the world. This is not an EP of disenfranchised and nihilistic music, or a willingness to surrender, but rather, an introspective examination of how one could find out that, much to your surprise, you just might be walking in the wrong direction.
