Heritage is a compilation of various classical and traditional Filipino songs ranging from the mountains of northern Luzon and the Tagalog region, to the paradise islands of the Visayas, to the exotic beaches and jungles of Mindanao. The eclectic song collection is a reflection of the diversity of the Filipino culture, although it is by no means all-inclusive. Rather, the renditions of the songs by the artist Robert Shroder is meant to capture the essence of what makes Filipinos so uniquely Filipino in this new and exciting century. The music is a symbol of Filipino history, pride and love.


The artist Robert Shroder was the principal flutist of the Manila Symphony Orchestra and the Manila Chamber Orchestra. He studied music at the University of the Philippines. Robert is currently based in the Los Angeles, California area as a freelance musician. He is the conductor and musical director of the Boyle Heights Youth Symphony in Los Angeles, CA.
