Ani-mal-e-alia, (pronounced, ah-nih-mah-lee-ah-le-ah), is an exciting, interactive musical extravaganza tells the story of wild animals that can be found right in our own backyards. Kids and parents alike will come away humming the songs. Not only is it really fun to interact with creator Sharyn Alice Murray and friends, but you just might learn a thing or two about wildlife; especially endangered species. Ani-mal-e-what? âI was looking for a way to combine my two passions, theater and wildlife as well as a way to teach environmental issues.â says Sharyn Alice.

Sharyn Alice has also performed for adults; writing songs and fronting her own bands in the New York area as well as traveling the east coast for regional acts such as Joe Rathbone and the Martz Company Yuletide Carolers. She has played in some of the areaâs most prestigious clubs such as the Living Room, (NYC), CBâs Gallery (NYC), Sweet Dreams Café (Madison, NJ) and the Common Ground (Summit, NJ). She attended Mason Gross School of the Arts in New Brunswick, NJ and studied voice with Kate Baker and Rod Hausen. She loves the art of puppetry and hopes to produce a series of videos or a television show âlike Mr. Rogersâ Neighborhood for the animal world.â
