Since their launch in 2002 Second Generation plays to capacity audiences, has appeared on BBC Television, with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and on numerous radio shows in the UK.
Playing in the unusual key of 'G' and featuring singers Vickie Daley and Matt Lucas, the band draws a wide age-ranging audience through its performance of popular music spanning the '40s through to today's hits.

Although Second Generation markets itself as a Jazz ensemble, don't be fooled into thinking that they only play heavy big band jazz music.

In order for them to reach a wider and more public market, Second Generation plays a mixture of jazz and contemporary music all within a jazz/big band swing style.
