On his third CD " Na Casa de Sedoc", Guitarist Patrick Sedoc has build his musical house, where Jazz, World-Music and Contemporary Creative Fusion meet.
Delivering a colorful recording where diverse guitarsounds, singable melodies, tasteful rhythm guitarplaying and jazz improvisations are portrayed in orginal compositions.
While growing up in The Netherlands , the South-American and Caribbean music spirit was always present at home.
After hearing the great Jazz-Rock recordings of the seventies, he became very interested in Jazz music and its roots. Listening and absorbing the tradition of the great American Jazz legends. Even without any formal music training at all at young age , he manage to learn himself his first jazz tunes .To improve his jazz skills, he later studied Jazz guitar with the great Dutch Jazz-guitarist Wim Overgaauw and Latin music with pianist Ilvio Pietersz from Curaçao ( the Netherlands Antilles).

Through intensive study and dedication to the guitar and music , he developed an original and unique guitar style.
Always willing to learn and to improve his music skills he traveled to Brasil and Cuba.
These journeys had an enormous impact on his playing and writing.

He wrote the music for two Dutch movies "Lost in Amsterdam" (1989) and "Night of the Wild Donkeys " (1990) directed by Pim de la Parra.
His 1994 debut CD L'Art de Sedoction" (1994) was released by a company called Groove Records. "Facing Changes " (1998) his second CD was released under his own record label EllPat-records.
Patrick has performed with musicians from all over the world, playing different styles of music and in diverse musical settings. He did concerts and gigs on festivals and in clubs all over Europe, the Caribbean and South-America. Currently he is working as a freelance guitar player.
