The Duo was formed in 2000 when hip-hop was undergoing yet another metamorphosis from "Gangsta" to "Bling-Bling". Not wanting to perpetuate violence or materialism, Pro-Shoppe rhymes and sings about the things that the average b-boy & b-girl can relate to. Things like providing for family, pursuing dreams, surviving environments, Life, death, love and just plain old good times.
