Shadows is a weird electronic musical sausage made of ground up techno, industrial, ambient, and experimental music. It takes many things considered "normal" and mercilessly mangles them.

Policy Overkill is the main musical project of a wacky guy that styles himself Mr. Toxin in the music world. The music borrows many tricks from the various techno, industrial, glitch, experimental, and dance genres and creates a crazy musical sausage out of it all. Think Wumpscut and Kraftwerk run through a meat grinder and then spiced with Aphex Twin, the Prodigy, and NIN. Garnish with chaos and a lemon; serve hot.

Mr. Toxin is one to believe that random chance has a place in music and has incorporated it into some of the songs. Chaos Theory was heavily processed with semi-random glitch-type effects, while the main line of the pulsing, factory-inspired Happy Havoc Industries comes out different every time the song is streamed. The results can be downright bizarre but definately of interest to people that like that sort of thing. Other times it might just give you a headache and a raging ear bleed (I am not liable for any damages this CD may or may not actually be capable of causing or lawsuits from whiney neighbors).

Other songs are written to reflect an emotional state present at the time. Specifically, The Stompdance was influenced by listening to too much high energy industrial music, while Smile was written in relfection of things he sometimes has difficulty coping with. Aside from that Wonder seems to have crawled out of late nights of brutal insomnia. All the while, the song Hey There, Goofshit! is meant to be amusing and was thrown into the mix for no real reason whatsoever.
