The band formed in 2000, Alec having taken a break from RAILROAD JERK , started working up some local country tunes with his friends in the neighborhood.
Playing local place's such as Pete's candystore,CBGB's Gallery,The Cooler and Sonny's in Red hook,the Pantographs harvested an unusual woody string sound that attracted attention.
