Insight for Living launched Paws & Tales as a weekly childrenâs radio drama in September 2001. Every half-hour episode is built upon biblical principles and uses an entertaining and educational format to model Christian values to children aged four to ten. Each episode includes a lesson song that reinforces the lesson. Paws & Tales is unique in that it is the only childrenâs radio series on the air that has an original song composed for each episode.

Sandy Howell is Paws & Tales' very talented songwriter. Sandyâs music has been called both inspired and inspiring. Sandy, a native of South Florida and a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, now resides in Los Angeles where she is in demand as a composer for Disney, Focus on the Family, Fox Entertainment, and many others. She is also a talented session vocalist, and her voice can be heard on many Paws & Tales musical selections. Sandy is currently in the pre-production stages of Paws & Tales full-length, animated, feature-film adaptation of the story of Queen Esther.
