Pam2 is Pam Colen and Pam Slomka, two artists who bring great energy and joy to the piano duet repertoire. They met in 1997 and began playing together as students of Joyce Adelson at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Today, Pam2 perform as members of the piano society Friends of Four-Hand and in concert to enthusiastic audiences throughout Southeastern Michigan. Their spirited playing showcases superb technical skills, exciting interpretations and the intuitive ensemble work of musicians who know each other well.
This disc is an adventurous blend of classical and contemporary music, either specifically composed for, or arranged for one piano four hands or two piano four hands. It is their debut recording.
