ABOUT THE âPALLBEARERSâ
On the dynamic and Heartfelt path like Frank Black Lou Reed Iron and Wine and Neil Young: Richard Paul is a songwriter that is true and honest. He swims deep below the surface to give the drowning listener a breath, and pushes them to surface, while somehow ending up at a campfire sometime later recounting the tale.

His self released album chronicles the human condition, his own perspective and the common plight of love gone away. Instead of dwelling on the loss, he sings of the moments inside relationships. Themes are universal and accessible as well as intelligent and broad. Richard plays the drums guitar bass and harmonica as well as sings on the album and also mixes and engineers nearly the entire project. The album is intentionally gritty and sparse, forcing the listener to appreciate the songs for the songs sake, warts and all. Itâs a view of love and pain from the highway 44 corridor.
