pam2 is Pam Slomka and Pam Colen, Duo Pianists. They have been performing together since 1995 throughout Southeastern Michigan. This is their second CD the first being a self titled recording released in 2003.

This is an intriguing mix of contemporary repertoire with exciting music by John Adams and John Corigliano. The seldom heard "Three Pieces" by Aram Khachaturian is beautifully haunting. Casella's "Pagine di Guerra" ( Pages of War, written while viewing WW1 newsreels) is especially poignant today. pam2's impressive arrangement of "Master of Puppets" by heavy metal band Metallica, is truly worth a listen.

The imaginative cleverness of the cover art work has received cheers from the creative world!
