Details:
On "The Road Home", jazz guitarist Pat Kelley surrounds himself with great musicians such as John Patitucci, Gary Novak, Tim Landers, Gary Herbig, David Witham, Michael Shapiro, and more.

In addition to touring with his own band, Pat is currently a member of Natalie Cole's band and David Benoit's band having worked with George Benson for five years. He has toured in more than thirty countries, worked as a session guitarist on hundreds of records, television shows, and motion pictures, and composed over a hundred songs that have been commercially recorded. Pat currently holds a full time teaching postion in the jazz guitar department at the University of Southern California and continues to keep a busy schedule as a guitarist, composer, and producer.

George Benson wrote the back cover liner notes which read:

"Pat's latest effort shows his versatility and why he is so likeable and easy to work with. I'm glad to see that Pat is expressing himself through the jazz medium which he loves. Pats chops allow him to move about with ease and freedom and show his musical experiences to be broad. I even enjoy his vocals here and I am sure you will too. If this isn't enough, Pat has surrounded himself with nothing less that some of the best musicians around today. Right on Pat!"

Brian Robb of Compact Disc Review wrote:
"This recording is incredible. Guitarist Pat Kelley has outstanding chops and his phrasing and dynamics are slammin'."

Josef Woodard of Jazziz Magazine wrote:
"Kelley's writing and soloing get to the heart of the matter."
