Young Man's Fancy is, as the title suggests, a collection of love songs: to girls, to possibility, and ultimately, to God, filtered through Andrew's keen melodic sense and poetic lyrics.
About the CD, Andrew writes:
"I've written songs since I can remember, and (barring some of the earliest work I did with Casios and
cardboard-box percussion) some of my favorites I've collected and turned into this CD. I didn't use any special criteria to choose what songs went on the disc. The way the disc has turned out, it's a group of songs that, somehow, when put together tell a coming-of-age (and coming-to-faith) story in reverse.
I don't think it's a coincidence."
