The Pines of Rome were from Providence RI. During the course of their existence they produced an EP entitled "A Catholic Western," a split EP with The Beauty Industry, and a full length CD, called "On All Fours. A second full length was begun but then shelfed for almost two years. John Kolodij (guitar player) was to wed. I was asked to be his best man. What does a best man give as his gift at a kennedy style wedding with 300 guest. Me thinkst i have an idea. I call Matt Derby of the Pines and finish the mixing of the album. JJ over at SoundStation 7 helps out with the mastering and then we send it out to press, all behind John's back. The record was presented during my wedding speech to all 300 guests and it will forever have a special place in my heart as do Katherine and John.
