Pico was first conceived when founding members Bryan Carter and Jeremy Bullock were still in middle school. Based in Raleigh, NC, they started out playing small acoustic shows and gradually built a modest local following. For the past couple of years, a revolving cast of Pico band mates has been attending various schools in the Carolinas and doing some light touring in support of their first album, Just Wait. Today, Pico is joined by bass player Brian Howell (sometimes called Wells to avoid confusion with Bryan, the lead singer) in Los Angeles, where they are writing and recording a new album. Their good friend John Henry Trinko has recently joined them in LA to help out on the keys.
